Ibiza – We were privileged to immerse ourselves in the tranquil beauty of Can Ricardo, nestled on Ibiza’s west coast. The awe-inspiring views of the open ocean and the distant Es Vedra and Espartar islands created an idyllic sanctuary, while a short journey across the cliff led us to a hidden gem of a beach known only to the locals. A mere stone’s throw away, Sunset Ashram awaited with its serene beachfront ambiance and captivating sunset vistas.
Turin – Our taste buds were treated to a wine experience at Ascheri Vineyards And Cellars followed by a decedent meal at Murivecchi Tavern. The abundance of local ingredients, is what gives this region serious culinary allure.
Girona – A heartfelt family reunion unfolded in the charming town of La Tallada d’Empordà, Girona, at the tastefully designed Cal Marenya. We stumbled upon Última Parada, a treasure trove of vintage finds, art exhibitions, and a restaurant brimming with unique charm.
Naples – Our foodie adventure commenced at the renowned Porta Nolana Market, a haven for seafood enthusiasts. At L’Antica Pizzeria da Michelle, we ordered the only two pizzas on the menu, margherita and marinara, enduring the queues that spoke volumes about their irresistible appeal. Later, we ventured to Latteria Sorrentina, a hidden gem near Vesuvius National Park, where we witnessed the meticulous artistry behind the production of Fior Di Latte Mozzarella. Our exploration continued to Striano, where we discovered the remarkable production process of the prized San Marzano DOP tomatoes, renowned for their exceptional quality and nurtured in the fertile soil near the majestic Mount Vesuvius.
Paris – cast a spell of romance upon us during our visit to Paris Photo. Nestled in the picturesque neighbourhood of Mon Maitre, we strolled through narrow cobblestone streets, enchanted by the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower and indulged in the delectable delights of pastries and sweet crepes.
Sicily – a true summer paradise, embraced us with open arms as we immersed ourselves in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, we arrived at the marina of Castellammare del Golfo by boat and sat out on the harbour-front promenade whilst we dug into fragrant bowls of fresh seafood linguine. We wandered amidst serene olive and lemon groves, and embarked on captivating explorations of Palermo’s vibrant streets, uncovering the city’s rich tapestry of history.
Each cherished snapshot captures a precious memory, a window into moments filled with discovery and an overwhelming gratitude for the wonders that life has to offer.
